Alpha Brushes

Today in the modelling workshop, i have learnt how to create alpha brushes in ZBrush.

This came very handy as i can use any simple design and create something quite pretty using all these alphas.

As I was researching how to easily create African American hair, I came across this post.

Here it taught me how to create a simple spray can spotting alpha map and using it to create lots of long waves of hair fibres. I loves the results it gave me however, the poly count will be ridiculously high if I stick with the fine fibres of hair.
