I found this website online, while trying to find tutorials about image based lighting.

This website explains why rendering is important and what to look out for when lighting and rendering.

It also shows what other options you can use when rendering and what effects you can create with a click of a button.

there was a helpful section where it tells you how to render in passes, and what you should typically render out.

For example light renders, background, forground, light bounces and unders light.
